Your
gift to the Rutgers-Camden Master of Fine Arts in creative writing
will support scholarships; monthly readings on campus by nationally
renowned authors; student meetings with literary agents, editors,
and publishers; opportunities for students to work on a literary
magazine; and relationships with the many arts and literary associations
in the Philadelphia area. Your support is of great importance to
our new program, and contributions are tax deductible for you.
In addition, Rutgers-Camden is working to incorporate a Writers’
House on campus, providing a space for students, faculty and visitors
to meet informally and talk about writing, which is at the heart
of any university curriculum. The House will offer writing laboratories,
offices for literary journals, special collections rooms for literary
archives and an informal environment for readings, talks, lectures
and workshops on writing for all disciplines and interests. Both
capital funds and endowment support are sought to make the Writers'
House a reality.
All gifts and contributions should be made payable to the Rutgers
University Foundation.
