Alumna Mariam Williams (MFA ’17) has been hired as Project Director for Chronicling Resistance, a Pew Center for Arts and Heritage-funded project of the Pennsylvania Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries. This project will highlight the history of resistance movements in the Philadelphia region as reflected in member collections, as well as develop new ways to bring collections to the public and engage community record-keepers.
Williams, who also received a certificate in Public History while at Rutgers, will be with the project until June 2019.
